It was this beautiful three year olds birthday pictures. I have photographed her before, but not solo. She is so photogenic. I know a lot of parents try to get their babies and/or children to smile, but to me the candid/natural shots capture the essence of their little personalties better.
This low key wedding was joining to create a family of seven! It took place at Wiskeytown Lake on a gorgeous July afternoon. As I was driving to the location, the light was playing off the water and I thought to myself, "Wow, what a perfect, perfect day." Indeed it was.
I really do not need words for this post. Miss Andy's portraits exude strength and confidence. On top of that she is a beauty queen;) She wanted something different other than the typical pageant shots. I think we accomplished it, even in the hot Redding, CA heat! Thanks Andy, I had so much fun!
My camera loved this little man. Practically every shot turned out, he was so easy to shoot. This was a tradtional cake smash session, but I like to start with a regular session first to help the little ones warm up to the camera so they can enjoy the cake later;) I think he will someday either be an Abercrombie model or a shortstop (I know nothing about baseball;).
A perfect example of the storyboard you will receive if you book a cake smash!
The mom had hoped to find a field with purple wildflowers to photograph her sweet baby girl in. Low and behold a I found the field a few blocks from my house the week she was born. Coincidence? I think not.
